Preschool News
Greetings from All Saints Preschool. We have been so busy here celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday and making green eggs and ham to hunting those sneaky, tricky leprechauns that commit such havoc in and around our classrooms, and we still didn't catch one! We had a great puppet variety show come in, and the children loved it. The puppeteer includes the children in the show and everybody has a great time.
Thanks to the Elks vision screening program; all children with a permission slip were vision tested free of charge in March.
We are now preparing for our Easter egg hunts and class parties, always a well loved event. We are still enrolling for fall and have now started enrolling for our summer program—enrollment is still a little slow, but looks to be picking up.
Our big fundraising event is coming soon. Our Spring Fling will be held on Friday, April 19th at "Kid Ventures"– an off site indoor play facility. This will be our first year trying this out. We will still have our raffle and silent auction, and bake sale goods available to church members. Look for the list of prizes and baskets in the office the week of April 14th—19th.
And the BIG news is—Miss Stephanie had her baby! Gracelyn "Gracie" Elizabeth was born March 14th and weighed in at 6 lbs 12oz. Congratulations Miss Stephanie!
Wishing you all a very happy Easter,
DeeDee Dumont, Preschool Director
